100 years World War One ended 100 years ago. As an Australian, each year we observe one minutes silence on Remembrance Day at the 11 th Hour on the 11th Day of the 11th Month. The ‘Last Post’ is played on the bugle. And, the ‘Ode of Remembrance’ is cited: ‘They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old. Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn.
